Campsites
With 40 campsites to choose from, it’s so easy to pull in, set up, and enjoy a relaxing camping stay at our Soap Lake oasis. We have lakeside sites with large grass areas, and all campsites come with a fire pit, picnic table, water, and electricity. Campsite base rates includes the first six occupants; additional occupants over 6 will be charged $10 per night per person. All RV and tent sites allow a maximum of 10 occupants. We do not charge for children under 4.
RV Sites
Smokiam RV Resort offers 43 full hook up sites. Most of our RV sites offer level pads, private grass areas, large shade trees, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and are pet friendly (aggressive dog breeds are not allowed) and are just steps to the lake. All sites come equipped with a fire pit and picnic table.
RV site base rates include the first six occupants. Additional occupants over 6 included in the base rate will be charged $10 per night per person. All RV and tent sites allow a maximum of 6 occupants. We do not charge for children under 2.
C Row Pull Through Sites: RV sites in the C Row are gravel, 50 feet long and 30 feet wide. These sites accommodate RVs of 25 feet or less.
D Row Premium Pull Through Sites: Our D Row premium pull through RV sites are extra long, extra wide sites designed for RVs up to 45 feet. Sites are 65-120 feet long with level pads, site widths range from 35-55 feet wide.
Premium Pull Through Hot Tub Sites: Sites D1 and D5 are premium pull through sites with private hot tubs. Private hot tubs are long and wide and can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet long. Private hot tubs are seasonal and open April-September, closed for the winter months.
F Row Back-In Sites: F row back-in sites are large, level back-ins with private grass spaces. F Row sites are 50 feet long and 30 feet wide and can accommodate RVs up to 42 feet.
G Row Back-In Sites: G Row premium back-in sites are extra large, level sites, with large private grass spaces. G Row sites are 60 feet long and 35-45 feet wide and can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet.
Cabin Camping
For decades, families and friends have come to Soap Lake to relax and rejuvenate. Each of our cabins is unique and features a mix of antiques and new furnishings, mixing modern amenities with the look of yesteryear for a perfect blend of comfort and ambiance. Just steps to the lake, our cabins feature fully appointed kitchens, full bathrooms, luxury bedding and linens, cable TV and Wi-Fi.
Pets are not allowed in cabins. Cabin base rates include the first six occupants. Additional occupants over 6 will be charged $10 per night per person up to the maximum occupancy for the specific unit.
Cabin #1 – Our Lodge Cabin
Decorated in a mix of modern and authentic western and Native American decor. Sleeps 8. One queen size bed, 4 twin mattresses in the upstairs loft, and a pull out sleeper sofa. The Modern Lodge Cabin has a private yard with grassy shaded area, picnic table, firepit, TV/DVD player. Linens are provided, kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils, coffee pot, and microwave.
Cabin #2 – Our Cottage Cabin
The Cottage Cabin has a private yard with grassy shaded area. Sleeps 6. One queen size bed, twin bed bunk room, and a pull out sleeper sofa. Full kitchen and bath, TV/DVD player, picnic table and firepit. Linens are provided, kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils, coffee pot and microwave.
Tipi Camping
Smokiam RV Resort offers 10 guest Tipis that allow guests the chance to experience a taste of Native American culture and an outdoor stay in comfort and ease. Our 6 Lakefront Tipis are set in a private setting on the shores of the lake, away from the rest of the resort. Our 4 Park Tipis are set in a private “village” group setting.
Tipi base rates include the first four occupants. Additional occupants over 4 will be charged $10 per night per person up to the maximum occupancy for the specific unit. Small pets are allowed in any of our Tipis.
The Lakeside Tipis
The Lakeside Tipis are dry camping (no power or water). The Park Tipis do have electricity. Linens are provided in both settings. General camping gear/supplies is recommended. We do provide Lakeside Tipi guests with lanterns for use during your stay.
16 Foot Tipis
16 Foot Tipis – Our 16-foot Couple’s Tipis are perfect for a couple. Each 16-foot Tipi has a futon sofa bed, Adirondack chairs for lounging and enjoying the views, a fire pit with a grate for grilling, and a picnic table. Linens are provided.
26 foot Family Tipis
26 foot Family Tipis – Our 26 foot Family Tipis are a great getaway for the family to have a unique experience. Our Lakeside Family Tipis have a queen-size bed and a twin size bunk bed. Adirondack chairs for lounging and enjoying the views, a fire pit with a grate for grilling, and a picnic table. The Lakeside Family Tipis will comfortably sleep 4. Linens are provided.
Our Park Family Tipis
Our Park Family Tipis have a king-size bed, a queen sleeper sofa, a lamp, mini-fridge, and portable air conditioner/fire pit (for heating). Adirondack chairs for lounging and enjoying the company of family and friends, a fire pit with a grate for grilling, and a picnic table. The Park Family Tipis will comfortably sleep 4. Linens are provided. There is also a common area for family gatherings which includes 3 BBQs, a sink, and counter space. A concrete pad with additional picnic tables makes for a great family mealtime.
Seasonal Camping
Smokiam RV Resort is the perfect place to spend the entire camping season. Located 23 miles from Moses Lake and 10 miles from Ephrata, we are located on the tranquil shores of Soap Lake, Washington, and are the perfect setting for your off-season camping needs.
As a family-friendly and big-rig friendly resort, our site have 30-50-amp hookups with water, sewer, 23 channels of cable, WIFI, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Our off-season starts October 1st and ends May 1st. Campsites are $600 a month, includes electric.
